I wake up feeling crusty and sticky, the remnants of last night clinging to my skin. The early morning light filters through the tent fabric, casting a soft glow around me. I push myself up, my body protesting every movement, and decide a shower is desperately needed. I quietly slip out of the tent, my feet sinking into the cool, dewy grass.
As I make my way to the spot where Carson set up the travel shower, I spot Sophia over by the makeshift setup. Sheâs naked, half-heartedly washing off, her motions quick and a bit haphazard. I donât mean to stare, but I canât help but notice the brand on her mound, a raised MW that stands out against her skin.
Curiosity wins as I approach, unable to keep my mouth shut. âHey, Sophia,â I greet her. âMind if I join you?â
Her eyes snap up to mine in surprise but relax when she seeâs it's me. âNo, go ahead. A girl has to clean up somehow, right?â She smiles.
âRight.â I nod, hesitating a moment. âHey, so not to be like a fucking creep or anything, but I couldnât help noticing, whatâs with the MW on your mound, is that like a brand on your pussy?â
Sophia looks up, cheeks red as her eyes meet mine with a mix of pride and something elseâperhaps vulnerability. âItâs a symbol of belonging,â she explains, her voice steady. âIt means Iâm Marshallâs, marked as his woman. He branded me himself one night while he fucked me like the animal he can be.â She laughs, smiling âHonestly, it was one of the hottest things ever.â
Wow. Thatâs⦠intense. I nod, my thoughts swirling. The brand, so simple and yet so significant, makes me think of what it representsâcommitment, protectiveness, and a deep, undeniable connection. Itâs something that would be seen as barbaric in my society, but somehow, it works with this family. As Sophia wraps herself in a towel and heads back toward the camp, I stand there for a moment, lost in thought.
The idea of being so desired, so cherished that someone would want to mark me as theirs forever, strikes a nerve within me.
Itâs not just about the brand itself, but the profound sense of belonging and love it symbolizes. I think about the superficiality of diamonds and how they often fail to convey the depth of feeling theyâre meant to represent. What I wouldnât give to have someoneâor even two someonesâwho wanted me so intensely, so completely, that they were willing to make a permanent mark on me, not with a piece of jewelry but with a symbol of true, lasting commitment.
I step out of the shower, the cool morning air hitting my damp skin. The makeshift setup is simpleâan old tree branch with a small, canvas shower bag hanging from itâbut it works well enough. I grab the small towel hanging nearby and start drying myself off, the rough fabric scratching against my skin. It feels good to be clean, even if Iâm still a bit sore from yesterday.
